A group of year 12 students from Walton High School attended the MKPDC and took part in our virtual dementia tour training. This was arranged as part of the Dementia Partnership Improvement Group activity to raise awareness of dementia.
The students are all studying health and social care and their teacher, Zoe Smith, emailed to say “All my students said they learnt a lot from the experience, they were very positive”. The visit was arranged by Emma Matcham, ASC Learning & Development Apprentice (far left of photo).

What our Learners say:
“I was fully supported by Kulvinder and Alyson to complete this qualification. They both provided plenty of time and resources to ensure that I did well. This skill will support me to complete my NVQ L3 Diploma in H&S Care and a future Social Work Qualification.”
